I was going to suggest that we need our own wikipedia as Tuscarora, and than found out that a work is in the process by _ben wah_ working on an indigenous wikipedia....working on things such as including indigenous place names into wikipedia?...
Idea: create Haudenosaunee wiki, but I still really think we need one as Tuscarora only. Each nation should have one.
Skarure . org should host a temporary one for the time being. Online self published archive and wiki? :)
is Light physical? skawennati gave welcome to mohawk territory to person skyping in. This is good because the feed comes in/through/from mohawk territories, and if we look at electricity, radio waves and digital transmissions through these, we can begin to view digital transmissions as physical. So if the rays that digital signals travel through, such as radio waves are technically classified as one of the [8?] categories of light that flow through our universe [gamma, UV, visible, radio, etc.], can we begin to acknowledge digital signals as a physical/analog/tangible/touchable etc.... bringing forth the question, is light physical? DO we need a new word or way to describe “digital” technologies other than _digital_ itself? How would tuscarora ask or describe these things...
Waylon Wilson:
If evidence is being researched to prove that the 90% population decrease of Indigenous peoples, can be linked to the destruction of the ozone and affecting the tides in asia, [trees and carbon dioxides and ozones being a series of chemical (gas) reactions] is it so far fetched to consider that this is physical change?
Is gas physical? vapors... why not?
Mia:
They are states of matter
And our matter word can be translated to mean many different things
Waylon Wilson:
Breathable matter even.
Mia:
It’s a gas
Waylon Wilson:
SWEEEEEET
Mia:
Remember solid, gas, liquid. The three primary states of matter
Waylon Wilson:
Are we breathing “digital” matter as well?
Mia:
I’m going to ask about matter. I like that
Electrons?
Idk
Waylon Wilson:
I vaguely remember hearing about a controversial fourth stage, but I might be thinking of the reaction of solid directly to gas, or the mixture of solid to solid through contact.
Electrons... a gas? a light? chemically responsive for sure...
liquid perhaps...
Mia:
There are others but you are thinking of sublimation. When as solid becomes a gas
Waylon Wilson:
gotcha
Mia:
Doesn’t light have weight?
Does sound?
Waylon Wilson:
plasma. I’ve always loved that word
Sound and light can both be manipulated by matter (air / waves / etc), so yea, they have too
right? I’m sure there is text on that
I hope
HOW THE FUCK DOES A SUNFLOWER KNOW WHERE THE SUN IS STRONGEST!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
THAT’S FUCKING INSANE!!!
One of Nature’s natural antenna
Mia:
Does temp have weight?
Waylon Wilson:
Interesting how it was the first plant....
Mia:
Not first plant the plant that brought light
Waylon Wilson:
knowledge..light..hmmm.... the first plant was an antenna to the natural world
lol
Mia:
Maybe it just showed the light
Waylon Wilson:
yes
okay
I knew there was something wrong there. BUT STILL!!! It follows the sun during the day! Some of them...
Mia:
light is energy
So then the internet is energy
Boom
Waylon Wilson:
YES!
This is what I’ve been trying to say (but without research) Is that our electronics our powered by Thunderers, aka, are of the natural world
hardware may have been synthetically created, but would you consider everything that flint and sapling created as a synthetic composite as well?!
Why don’t we discuss what those moments actually were or could be interpreted as?
